“On the Mark showed up with five guys and two trucks, and even the owner was out there working. These guys are so organized and diligent. The other company would have taken twice as long and the bill would have been $700 more. Best deal and best moving experience you will ever have.”
Is the crew and the fleet your own?
Every bit of it. Seven trucks sit at our Walzem Rd yard, run by uniformed movers on our own payroll, licensed and insured, Texas and interstate authority on file. Your move is never passed to a broker or a stranger in a rented truck.
How much will my move run?
Two movers and a truck are $129/hr, a third mover makes it $189/hr, on a two-hour minimum. A studio tends to sit around $380–$520 and a two-bedroom around $820–$1,240, handed to you as a written band before the date.
What does “on the mark” mean for my move?
A precise quote paired with a punctual crew. You get a specific arrival time rather than a four-hour block, and the flat figure already has the stairs, the long carries, and the heavy pieces folded in.
Can the written quote change on the day?
No. The stairs, the long carries, and the heavy items are already inside the number, so the figure you signed is the figure that stands. Want a ceiling? We are glad to cap it with a written not-to-exceed figure.
Is there a deposit?
A $75 deposit holds your date and comes straight off the final total. Let us know 48 hours ahead to reschedule or cancel and you get every dollar back.
When do I settle up?
At the finish, once the last piece is in place, never up front. We take any major card, a check, or cash, and you approve the total on the spot.
Do you handle military PCS moves?
Constantly, San Antonio is Military City. We line up base access and the housing-office move-out window at Randolph, Fort Sam Houston, and Lackland, right down to your report date.
Will you move a hot tub, pool table, or piano?
Yes, the big awkward pieces are a specialty, with the boards, dollies, and straps aboard the truck. Spas from $425, slate tables re-leveled, pianos and safes handled, all written up first.
How early should I book?
A few days is plenty for most midweek dates. Weekends, the end of the month, and summer PCS season book up fast, so reach out early for those.
What happens if something is damaged?
Basic protection follows the federal 60-cents-per-pound standard, and full-value coverage runs roughly 1 to 3 percent of the value you declare. The claim window is nine months, and anything is noted on site the day of the move.
